Learn to Create Stunning Abstract Blooms in this One Day Workshop at the Levee Art Gallery Studios in The Hunter Valley Maitland

You will Work with a combination of  Acrylic Inks and Acrylic Paint to create a Stunning Artwork with experienced Artist and Trainer, Lorna Ballantyne Epps.

Lorna will guide you through the process of creating a work you can be proud to show off to family and friends

STUDENTS PURCHASING BYO PAINT Must bring enough for the day – if you do not think you have the correct supplies please purchase the Include Paint option or you can pay to use our paint on the day at an additional fee of $60

Materials List

x 1 large square canvas/birch panel – 90cm square – thin or deep profile

Images of Florals you wish to use for inspiration

x6 foam brushes – available in Pages 2 Scrap Shop – Cheap Dollar or Bunnings

X6 Heavy Fluid Acrylic Paints  & Heavy Bodied Acrylics- Golden/Matisse/Holcraft/Holbien- or whatever you have handy – X3 Warm Colours  & x3 Cool colours – Red, Yellow, Orange, Pink or all Blues and Greens

Acrylic Inks – Magenta, Yellow, Blue, green

X1 Titanium White Heavy Body Acrylic or Gesso

X1 Black Heavy Body Acrylic

Mark making tools- etchers – bamboo sticks, old pens, Feathers, Twigs or anything that can scratch away wet paint

If you can prime your canvas or birch panel with white gesso prior to the workshop this will save time.  By applying a coat of gesso it stops you wasting paint soaking into the canvas

Make sure you have enough thick paint to cover this size of canvas as you re working larger here. especially white or gesso

Resin ART Workshop

Join this fun filled Creative workshop & create your very own Original Resin Artwork

This workshop is for all levels & will give you the knowledge of epoxy resin techniques & ongoing support & knowledge to assist your future resin projects.

All of the materials are provided. Wear old clothes & an Apron

Resin Starter Kits,  Circular,  & Rectangular  Panels are available for purchase

You can purchase these via Lorna at her studio or at The Levee Art Studios

Our Workshops are a maximum of 10 participants.

The resin will take a min of 24hrs to dry so you will also need to arrange to collect your artwork after this time
